An exceptional early 20th century diamond pendant set in platinum c.1910. A beautiful example of its time, the pendant is set to the centre with an old european cut diamond weighing approximately 1.40ct, F colour, P1 (Pique) clarity. The central diamond is surrounded by a decorative openwork foliate design, set with 160 single cut diamonds, including the bail, well matched in colour to the central diamond. The brooch suspends delicate garland diamond set chains to the top and bottom and a central pear shape drop set with 40 old cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.45ct. The total diamond weight of the pendant is approximately 4.50ct. The pendant suspends from a white gold station 20-inch station chain that finishes with a spring ring clasp and has a gross weight is 18.57 grams.
