A modern platinum diamond and sapphire engagement ring. The ring features a round brilliant cut diamond set to the centre weighing 0.72ct, E colour and VS1 clarity. The diamond scores an excellent rating in all three aspects for cut, polish and symmetry - this is known as a 'triple excellent' diamond. Accentuating the centre diamond are 8 round brilliant cut diamonds set in a halo and 18 round brilliant cut diamonds pave set to the shoulders with an approximate total weight of 0.55ct, F-G colour and VS clarity. Further complementing the diamonds are 8 round cut sapphires set around the halo with an approximate total weight of 0.03ct, displaying a deep blue hue. There are 3 hidden rubies set under the crown and shank with an approximate total weight of 0.01ct and displaying a vibrant pinkish-red hue. The 1.66mm ring has a gross weight of 5.44 grams and is currently a size P but can be adjusted for the perfect fit.
